Burrito is a famous Mexican dish. It consists of flour tortilla with different stuffings such as meat, vegetables, and sauces. The tortilla is in a cylindrical form to make a wrap. Although the precise origin of this delicious snack is not known, it is a dish that has Northern Mexico origins.

You may be surprised to know that burritos are not as famous in Mexico as it is in Western countries. They are actually not sold outside of the northern parts, and earlier in the days, these wraps were made of cornflour rather than the wheat flour that they are now.

In the central parts of Mexico, they are called tacos de harina, which means wheat flour tacos in English. This Mexican delicacy slowly started to get out of Mexico to the other countries and has become more prevalent in other parts of the world than it is in Mexico itself.

Burritos can be served in different ways, and one of them is burrito in a bowl, which is pretty much having the same fillings in a container without the tortilla wrap.

Making a burrito at home is extremely easy. All that you have to do is make a tortilla wrap which can be done by rolling a wheat flour dough and cooking it on a pan. Prepare a set of some of your favourite fillings such as rice, meat, vegetables, and some cheese. Spread out the tortilla wrap and put all the fillings on it. Now use the techniques here to wrap your sauce so that it does not spill out:

Take the bottom half of the wrap and join it with the top half.

Now pull the filling back with the one end that you have held so that the mixture comes to one side.

Fold one side of the wrap and then do the same with the other side. Hold the cover with both your hands.

Now roll the rest of the burrito to make a cylinder.

Wrap it up in a foil, and you are good to go!
