To get a Carnival Elite Cruise, you need to receive a private invitation through the Carnival Players Club casino program. The catch is that this invite is based on your casino play and status, not on how many cruises you have taken with the VIFP loyalty program.
As an invited guest, you can expect exclusive benefits like priority dining, complimentary laundry and valet services, and invitations to special events and parties onboard and on land.
Understanding the Carnival Elite Cruise Program
The Carnival Elite Cruise program is an invite-only offering through the Carnival Players Club casino program, not a points-based loyalty tier earned by accumulating cruise points. It is designed to reward guests based on their casino play.
To receive an invitation to a Carnival Elite Cruise, guests typically participate in the Carnival Players Club casino program. Invitations to Carnival Elite Cruises are extended privately through the Carnival Players Club casino program, and are based on your casino play and status in the Carnival Players Club.
As an invited guest on a Carnival Elite Cruise, you can expect a range of exclusive benefits both onboard and on land.
Another valuable perk of being invited on a Carnival Elite Cruise may include priority access to dining and entertainment options.
Additionally, invited guests on Carnival Elite Cruises may receive complimentary laundry and valet services to keep their wardrobes fresh and clean throughout the cruise.
One of the most exciting aspects of Carnival Elite Cruises is the invitation to exclusive events and parties.
It's important to note that Carnival Elite Cruises are invite-only sailings through the Carnival Players Club casino program, which is separate from the VIFP (Very Important Fun Person) loyalty program, which rewards guests with perks and benefits based on the number of cruise days. Guests invited on Carnival Elite Cruises can also participate in the VIFP program, allowing them to enjoy additional benefits and recognition.
To receive an invitation to a Carnival Elite Cruise and enjoy the exclusive perks and benefits, you typically need to participate in the Carnival Players Club casino program. To qualify for a Carnival Elite Cruise invitation, you usually need to earn significant casino play and status in the Carnival Players Club. Once you earn sufficient casino status, you may receive a private invitation to a Carnival Elite Cruise.
Meeting the Eligibility Requirements
These invitations are not based on accumulating cruise points from bookings.
Typically, a seven-day cruise in a balcony or suite cabin will earn you one cruise point. It's important to note that only the first two guests in a cabin are eligible to earn points.
It's worth mentioning that you cannot achieve Carnival Elite status on your first cruise; you need to accumulate points over multiple cruises.
If you are sailing on cruises booked under different names or with different loyalty numbers, Carnival Cruise Line provides an option to combine these bookings to count towards your points accumulation. This allows you to streamline your progress towards earning Carnival Elite status.
The VIFP program awards cruise days, not just number of cruises; Carnival Elite Cruises are invite-only casino sailings, not a points-based program.
If you're unsure about your eligibility status or have any questions regarding the eligibility requirements, it's recommended to contact Carnival Cruise Line directly or consult their official website. They will be able to provide you with accurate and up-to-date information based on your specific situation.
Now that you understand the eligibility requirements for the Carnival Elite program, let's move on to the next section: earning points towards Carnival Elite status.
Earning Points towards Carnival Elite Status
Now that you know the eligibility requirements for the Carnival Elite program, let's explore how you can earn points towards achieving elite status on your next Carnival cruise.
The primary way to earn cruise points is by booking and sailing on Carnival Cruise Line ships. As mentioned earlier, the number of points you earn will depend on the length of the cruise and the cabin category you choose.
However, it's important to check with Carnival Cruise Line for any specific promotions or offers that may allow you to earn bonus points during certain periods.
Only the first two guests in a cabin are eligible to earn points, so if you are traveling with a group or family, make sure to coordinate and allocate the points accordingly. Additionally, points are earned per voyage, so if you have back-to-back cruises on the same ship, you will earn points for each individual voyage.
It's important to note that points are typically awarded after the completion of your cruise and may take a few weeks to be credited to your account. It's recommended to keep track of your points and ensure they are properly credited to your loyalty account. You can check your current points balance by logging into your Carnival Cruise Line account or by contacting their customer service directly.
In addition to earning points through cruises, Carnival Cruise Line occasionally offers opportunities to earn bonus points through various promotions. These promotions could include booking specific itineraries, sailing during particular dates, or taking advantage of limited-time offers. Keeping an eye out for these opportunities can help you accumulate points more quickly.
It's also worth mentioning that points earned in the VIFP (Very Important Fun Person) loyalty program do not count towards the Carnival Elite program. The two programs operate independently, and the points earned in one program cannot be transferred or combined with the other.
By actively booking and sailing on Carnival Cruise Line ships, and taking advantage of any bonus point opportunities, you'll be on your way to earning the necessary points and achieving Carnival Elite status.
Now that you know how to earn points, let's move on to the next section: taking advantage of the exclusive benefits and perks of being a Carnival Elite member.
